Chapter 100 Alpha Jace Is Jealous

• Jeremy catches up with me just as I’m leaving the private chamber where I’ve been talking with King Icarus. He is huffing and puffing and there’s alcohol on his breath. I can still hear the King’s voice in my head. He baited me and I fell in his trap. Now he knows how I feel about Sheila. Hopefully this stays between us. Jeremy’s grin appears before his words do.
• “Man, you should’ve seen the bar in there,” he says, falling into step beside me. “It’s huge, stocked all the way to the ceiling. The man doesn’t play when it comes to his drinks.”
