Chapter 84 They Thought I Was A Witch
- It’s been three whole days since the head of the witch’s coven asked me to confess the location of my mate. Yeah, you guess right, I’ve refused to say anything. I watch mother go from shocked to worried and then to crying her eyes out. She could not believe that I’ve met my mate and did not tell her.
- The head of that witch also refused to say anything even when I was sure she must have seen everything that happened between Levi and I in that little vision of hers. I was grateful that she was not rushing to spill anything. She told mother that I was the only one that could say everything and she was not going to speak on it.
- On the third day, mother stopped crying and sat beside me without saying a word. We both had our backs to the wall of the cave and we were staring straight ahead. I could hear the hiss of termites and the sounds of birds calling one to another as they flew in the brightly lit sky outside the cave.
