Chapter 41 One

• I don’t know why but for some reason, my lips curled in a wicked smile as I watched her reaction. A minute ago, I was scared of spooking her but now, I was enjoying her reaction too much.
• “I’m sure your fighting instructor will be shocked at the fact you did not notice someone creeping up to you.” I said, rubbing salt on her injury.
• Surprisingly, she recovered faster than I expected and jumped to her feet. She bowed so low, I was scared that just a little more and she would fall on her face, as she greeted me.
