Chapter 72 Two

• Levi’s POV
• “What do you wa—” My breath was knocked out from my lungs as Lucy immediately threw herself against my chest. I bit back the groan of annoyance that crept from the pit of my belly to my throat and held myself still so that I wouldn't shove her away.
• “Levi, how could you have kept me standing outside? I’ve been knocking for a while now, I got scared thinking that something has happened to you. Please, don’t scare me like that again,” Lucy said just before she began to cry against me, her body shaking and spasming as heavy sobs left her.
