Chapter 54 Four

• Seven fought tonight and I placed my bet on him. Would telling him cause his ego to inflate? I grumbled to myself. I did not like any of these. Maybe I should just walk away.
• “What? I did not hear you?”
• I jumped, one foot in the air and whirled around to face him when I heard his voice very close to me. I would have knocked into him but thankfully, he took one step back. I had my back to him, I didn't even know when he moved so close to me but he was always so nimble during his fights, I was not surprised. With the way he moved so silently yet so quickly, he could be a good assassin if he ever decided to venture into that path.
