Chapter 45 Five

• I fidgeted as I stood in front of the secret passageway that led outside of the palace. Eva had showed me when I first got to the palace and I stored it at the back of my mind knowing fully well that one day I might need it to sneak out of the palace.
• Like Eva told me in the past, our parents were overprotective and if we ever wanted to step out of the palace, it needed to be very important and we needed a whole lot of bodyguards to be able to do it. I could not blame them for wanting us to be protected at all times though.
• If I could be kidnapped from the palace by my own nanny, how much more by outsiders.
