Chapter 25 Five

• I spent almost the whole day with Eva. She showed me everywhere in the palace including a hideout she and Simon used in sneaking out of the palace when they were much younger. She still uses it now because our parents were overprotective and won’t let her always leave the palace. Even if they agreed for her to step out, she had to do it with a whole entourage of guards.
• I found that to be very stifling. In gray moon pack, I might not have been a princess but my position did not make it possible for me to move about as freely as I wanted to.
• Everyone’s eyes were on me waiting for me to make one mistake so they could laugh at me. I stayed locked up in my box room anytime I did not have to go out because I wanted to avoid being bullied. It was a prison of its own but after living with Troy for a year and tasting what freedom feels like, I couldn't picture myself being locked up here and unable to go out and mingle as much as I wanted to because I was now a princess.
