Chapter 46 Six

• Why did I ever think that sneaking out will be easy? After crawling for over thirty minutes in that stupid and suffocating tunnel, I still had to walk for another twenty minutes before I was able to reach town. Eva had made it seem easy but I was to be blamed for not asking her questions that day. I did not want her to know I was sneaking out so I didn't even ask her about this tunnel again after that day, knowing fully well that she would become suspicious if I asked.
• After fifteen minutes of walking and not seeing anyone in sight, I had begun to think that maybe I should have gone in the other direction but I refused to turn back. I knew that the main market was not very far from the palace and I couldn’t be more glad when I spotted it from afar. It made me start walking fast as energy from nowhere began to flow through my veins.
• Even if it was night time, the market was filled with people who came to sell their wares and items tonight. Everywhere was lit up with lanterns and there were a few kids running around.
