Chapter 69 Nine

• I released a deep sigh as I stood up from the chair in front of my vanity. I arched my back that was hurting and stretched myself before going to drop on the bed. I hurried my face on my pillow and closed my eyes.
• My head was banging with severe headache but I was too lazy to go out and ask a servant to help me get the doctor. I’ll just sleep today and then in the morning Abigail will help me get the palace doctor if the headache persists.
• Today at school had been hectic. With the news of Simon abdicating spreading like wildfire, everyone wanted to confirm if it was the truth or just a rumor. Even Marie was not left out, she was also curious and even if I did not want to lie to her, I could not tell her the truth so I just asked her to be patient as my parents would soon address the matter.
