Chapter 45 Brewing Plans

• Ekaterina ran to her room and closed the door behind her, she fell on the bed and broke into tears. It hurt her deeply that Vadim had refused to believe her.
• How could this have happened? Why did it have to happen now when she was about to pour her heart out to him? Her happy ending had seemed to be in sight but now she didn't even know what to expect.
• She understood that Inessa was his sister so he would definitely believe her first over everybody else but what bothered her the most was the fact that Inessa had not only insulted her but had lied about her to Vadim, and more shocking was the fact that she even had the injuries to back up her claims of Ekaterina's violence towards her but both of them knew none of it was true.
