• The next few days did not go as Ekaterina had planned; she noticed that Vadim seemed to be keeping a distance from her.
• He wasn't avoiding her completely, they still talked but she felt like he wasn't as friendly and playful with her as he used to be. He acted more like the Alpha around her instead of just Vadim. The warmness and closeness they shared seemed to have evaporated and Ekaterina didn't like it one bit, especially since she had no idea what she was being punished for.
