• Tia Carter did not accompany Wendy Wayne back. Instead, she arranged to meet Shannon Luke at a cafe to have a face-to-face conversation about recent events. She believed it was more appropriate to discuss in person rather than over the phone.

She directed the driver to take them to the agreed-upon cafe, and upon Tia Carter's exit from the car, she simply instructed her to call when she was ready to return so that transportation could be arranged.
