Chapter 119 Watching a Movie

Whitney's call came in while Lewis and Tia were having lunch. Chris might have gone back and told her, because she already knew the news of their arrival in Shoreside, so she specifically called and asked them to go back for dinner that night. Perhaps she was worried that she would be rejected if she called Lewis, so she directly called Tia again.
Tia looked at Lewis somewhat awkwardly. Because of Lewis, she didn't want to go back to the Harvey Manor at all, but this was still her mother-in-law and Lewis' mother after all. It wasn't really her place to make decisions, so she didn't know how to begin to reject them.
Standing beside her, Lewis noticed her troubled expression and thought she was afraid of going back and didn't know how to face his parents, so he stretched out his hand and took the phone from her. He said directly into the phone, "Mom, it's Tia's first time in Shoreside. I want to take her out for a stroll, so I won't go back later. Send me the hotel address for tomorrow, and I will take Tia there when the time comes."
