• Jazz played in the background of the café. Two ladies were sitting in a corner. Tia had a cup of milk tea in front of her, while a cup of hot milk sat in front of Ysabel. Ysabel looked worse for wear, and she was overly quiet. Tia glanced at her, then at the pregnancy test result on the table. She sighed. "So what will you do now?" She had gone to the hospital with Ysabel, and the doctor had confirmed that Ysabel was nine weeks pregnant.
• A while of silence later, Ysabel suddenly laughed. She looked at Tia. "I never thought I'd get pregnant for a guy." She shook her head, repeating, "I've never thought this day would come."
• Tia looked at her for a moment, then she asked, "You fell in love with him, haven't you?" She was dead serious. The solemnity was almost forming grey clouds in the air.
