• They had a colorful night, and Lewis fooled around with Tia for a long time before they went to bed. It was then he noticed an unread text on his phone. 'Happy birthday, Yliaster. I miss you a lot.' It was an unknown number, and the sender did not leave a name, though Lewis could guess who it was. There was only one person who would call him 'Yliaster'. He deleted the message without even replying to it. No, he was not feeling guilty. Keeping that kind of text around would cause a lot of drama, and he did not want Tia to think that he had an affair.
• Tia woke up late the next morning. It was almost eight, and Lewis had left hours ago. His side of the bed felt cold, but there was a fresh set of clothes on it. There was also a slip of paper underneath. Just like Lewis, his handwriting was careless, but it felt powerful. It was not some important message though. He just said that the sandwiches he made were in the fridge, and that to reheat them if she wanted to have them.
