Chapter 53 Lewis' 'Pillow'

• "What are your parents' jobs?" Tia curiously asked just as Lewis stared at her firmly. For the next few moments, she began to feel uncomfortable with the man's stare and scratched her head. "Fine, if you won't tell me, forget that I ever asked. I was just curious anyway." Deep down, she remembered Lewis said that they were public servants but was bewildered by that at the same time because no public servant could afford a driver to take them places. Soon, Tia went to the drawer and grabbed the thermal flask that was used to contain the soup for Lewis and proceeded to wash it.
• When Tia came out of the bathroom with the thermal flask, Lewis, who was in bed, answered, "They're diplomats."
• Upon hearing that, Tia was stunned for a few moments, but when she snapped out of her trance, she gazed at the man and asked, "W-What did you just say?"
