• "Rowan has already seen your parents? You took him home?" Tia cleaned up her stuff as she talked to Shannon on the phone.
• "Yeah. Last night. I didn't want Dad to worry too much about me," Shannon said. She did not sound really happy. It was unlike a woman who was supposed to be in love.
