Chapter 80
- Aurora’s POV
- My father’s guards seized Lucian roughly, their eyes filled with disdain as they dragged him across the cold, stone floor. My body trembled uncontrollably, overwhelmed by fear and dread as they approached my father. He stood there, a menacing figure looming behind Lucian, his gaze cold and unyielding.
- Tears streamed down my face, my breaths coming in ragged gasps. Lucian, the love of my life, was now at the mercy of my father’s cruelty. He was shoved violently, collapsing onto the ground. The impact with the concrete was harsh, and it was evident that he was severely injured. His left eye was swollen shut, his nose was a mangled mess, and his upper lip was split open, blood mingling with the grime of the floor.
