• Aurora’s POV
• With a heavy heart, I walked into the hospice clutching a bouquet of roses for Raven. It was truly sad that she lost her mom to cancer after everything they had been through together.
• Unlike Lycans, humans were fragile, often succumbing to illnesses. Lycans typically died from childbirth, poison, or old age. After checking the reception desk for the room number, a nurse gave me directions to find Raven. I thanked her and hurried down the corridor, passing by several other patients and their visitors.
