Chapter 9 Plan B

  • Diana never came out of her room. She spent the rest of her morning and the entirety of her afternoon, pouring over the book she had gotten from the library. She even had her lunch brought to her room, an instruction she had given to Florence, having crossed paths with him after she had left the library.
  • Her eyes were exhausted, considering that she had not allowed herself a second of rest. So far, she had finished two books, ‘Everything Werewolves’ and ‘Werewolves, Myths and Facts’, which she had half-skimmed and half-read.
  • Her back was aching, despite shifting her positions as she did her research. She had sat on her desk, walked around with the tome in her hand, and even laid on the bed. She had tried being on her back, on her stomach and on both her sides.
