• “What?” Diana exclaimed loudly, her voice nearly sounding painfully shrilly.
• Alistair remained unfazed despite her big reaction, and while there was a hint of amusement dancing in his intense blue eyes, the look on his entire face could only be described as serious. “I believe you heard me loud and clear, Diana. We’re leaving Moonfyre for your safety.”
• “Wha… H-how… Leave?” Diana stammered pathetically, unable to form a coherent response from the sheer disbelief that was filling her to the brim.
