Chapter 34 Unlikely Friend
- The place Orion graciously offered Diana for the night was his personal quarters in the Warriors’ barracks. It wasn’t as large as Diana thought was befitting of a man of Orion’s rank among the Warriors, but it was cleaner than she expected from a man. Still, his warm, woody scent lingered heavily all over the place. But it wasn’t cloying enough to be an assault to the nose.
- A twin-size bed, a bedside table, a dresser made of dark wood, and a large trunk by the bed’s foot were all the room had, and they were arranged strategically to make the place seem more spacious than it actually was. Dark blue dominated the room, accented here and there by dark brown and bronze. Even the fluffy carpet by the bed was dark blue with bronze-hued linings.
- “Nice,” Diana complimented.
