Chapter 57 Amethyst (POV)

• We had a wonderful time at the lake with our twins. It felt so good to be able to relax. I know Chase is still concerned with this strange bond between Jacob and me but I have to trust the goddess as she knows what she is doing. I have not told Chase but at times it seems I can see images of places. It seems fuzzy at the moment and for some reason, I feel they are places Jacob has been to. I also see faces of people and wolves I have never met. What this is all about? Only the Goddess knows. I just have to be patient and see what happens. As long as Chase stays alive.
• He keeps making promises to stay alive, but I nearly lost him two times. I keep praying to the Goddess that we will have forever together. Today is a gloomy day with lots of rain outside so I am feeling pretty bored with Chase in his office with Kyle doing alpha work. I have spent what I can with the twins, but they are asleep right now. Karen is down in the kitchen making homemade baby food for the twins. She has been doing this since they have come to eat solids now. I will be winging them off my breasts in a month as they are getting older. At least they are taking less breast milk and more solids and boy are they healthy.
• So, I am in my room with the baby monitor so I can hear if they wake up and decided to watch some Netflix. There is a romantic comedy I wanted to see. Halfway through I heard a knock on the door Karen was there with some snacks for me and when she noticed what I was watching her eyes lit up.
