Chapter 41 Chase (POV)
- As I was in a meeting I get an urgent mind link from Steven that we were under attack. I close out the video meeting with a quick explanation about the attack and went out and shifted. I begin fighting and tearing throats out of rogues when all of a sudden, they left. I was puzzled, what did this mean?
- ‘Alpha, the prisoner has escaped.’ I got a mind link from a guard.
