Chapter 16 Amethyst (POV)

• I feel something heavy draped over me as I try to open my eyes, but I can’t seem to make them open. I feel some pain, but it is not bad. I can’t help but wonder what happened. I turned my head and my neck hurt, I moaned at the discomfort.
• “Ammie?” I hear the most wonderful voice and I smile. “Ammie, thank the Goddess.”
• I finally was able to open my eyes and saw the most beautiful man staring back at me. “Chase,” I whisper his name.
