Chapter 55 Amethyst (POV)

• It has been another week since Chase woke up and we reclaimed each other. He seems to be healing faster than the doctor thought and was due to be released today. I was so excited to have my mate home again. I am sitting in his room waiting for the doctor with the release papers. Chase is already dressed and ready to go. He is just as excited as I am. During the past week Karen and I brought in the twins, and they were happy to see daddy just as much as he was happy to see them. At times he and Kyle conducted business and strategy in case we get attacked again. We all know something bigger is coming. We believe this past attack was to test our strength.
• But the Sacred Moon pack is considered one of the strongest in the world and that began with Chase’s father, Remington Carter. He was an Alpha one who never wanted to mess with. He ruled with an iron fist, yet he showed love for his pack, much the same way Chase does now. His mother who I adore, Evelyn is the one who helps teaches me about being a good Luna. She is the heart and tells me all the time, just how much I remind her of herself. They have me call them mom and dad and it is so nice having parents again since mine died years ago. They are the typical doting grandparents and spoil the twins.
• Chase still goes to his father for advice on the pack business and during the time Chase was in a coma they visited often to bring me fresh clothes and food. I love them to pieces. His father is here with Kyle and Chase as we wait for Chase’s release to help with what we can do to prepare for the worst.
