Chapter 27 Chase (POV)

• Well, we learned the hard way that Jacob was still around doing what Jacob does best. Sleeping around. He caused my mate pain, and it was a good thing Dr. Bailey had the serum ready for Ammie. The best thing is it is safe for the young pup growing inside my mate. At least my mate will not be going through pain whenever Jacob decides to have sex. But until he accepts Ammie’s rejection, he will continue to feel it every time we have sex, and it is no one’s fault but his own. And it won’t stop us. He deserves every bit of this pain.
• The Doctor says it is safe and as we found out Ammie’s sex drive has gotten higher with her pregnancy. So, I say… ‘Bring it on Jacob. Payback’s a bitch and you deserve it for what you put my mate through.’
• It has been days, and all is quiet and my mother loves Ammie and is showing her the duties of a Luna. Ammie seems to be catching on fast and is a natural for the role. We also heard that Jacob has been seen with some rogues. We have no idea what he could be planning so we are keeping our eyes and ears out for anything.
