Chapter 13 Alpha Chase (POV)

• I am fuming as I watch my poor mate sleep after a night of tortured pain. If this is what she goes through all time it makes me angry. I have to help her break that first bond. I know males are able to reject a female, but I am not sure if it can go both ways. I have never heard of it being done. And if it can that could be how to break it of course he would have to accept it and I highly doubt he would. And I can’t challenge him for the title of alpha to his pack unless he wasn’t doing his job properly and so far, he seems to be doing his job except for what he is doing to my mate.
• So, what am I to do? I made a promise and vow to her, and I do not intend to break it. There has to be a way to break that bond. There has to be. Why else would I be her second chance mate?
• ‘Goddess, give me a clue as to what I am supposed to do?’ I thought to myself as I pull her close to me and close my eyes to sleep.
