Chapter 18 Amethyst (POV)

• I woke late the next morning in the arms of my mate, My head and throat hurts and so does my body with all the pain from last night. Chase has been so supportive and patient through it all and I love him more every day for it. I am beginning to feel fighting mad for what Jacob is putting me through. I finally made up my mind. I need Chase to set up a video call with Jacob and I intend to finally be the first to do the rejecting. In all honesty, I had no idea the female can do the rejecting. For one I never heard of such a thing. I have only heard of males doing the rejecting.
• Well, Jacob is in for a real surprise. I refuse to let him hurt me anymore. Today I plan to reject him, and my wolf Sadie is all for it. My poor Sadie has been getting weaker with all the pain she has been suffering. I know she will get her strength back as soon as the first bond is finally broken. In the meantime, I refuse to be weak. I am now the Luna of The Sacred Moon pack one of the strongest around and they need a strong Luna by their Alpha’s side.
• I feel Chase begin to stir next to me and I smile at him as he opens his beautiful eyes and looks at me. He pulls me closer, and I snuggle next to him as I said, “I need to have you get that bastard Jacob on a video call. I plan on rejecting him and I want to see his face as I do.”
