Chapter 19 Chase (POV)

• It has been a week with Ammie getting injected daily with the serum and so far, it seems to be working. She has not had any pain. Of course, Mark does not know how it works and if Jacob still feels the pain when we make love or not. As long as Ammie doesn’t feel pain from him. So, if he is suffering; it is his own damn fault. All he has to do is accept her rejection. So far, he still has not as Ammie still feels the bond connected to him. She would know if he accepted it as it would be severed. It just feels good knowing my mate is no longer in pain because of him.
• Tonight is the night when I officially announce to my pact that I have found my fated mate and they have a Luna. Then the celebration begins and will last a good two days and on the night of the second day, we all join the Luna for a midnight run around the territory. It just so happens to fall on a full moon. This way we were able to combine her Luna celebration and the Moon festival into one. The end result of both celebrations is always the same with running in wolf form howling at the moon.
• Ammie is so excited that she bought online the perfect dress for tonight. I have not seen it as it is a surprise. I cannot wait to see my Luna and celebrate with my pack.
