Chapter 39

• It was Sunday evening and Sophie was no where to be found. I had tried reaching her but she wasn’t taking her calls. I was worried about her, she never left the house like this without informing me.
• These days, she had been acting out of the ordinary, and constantly keeping me in the dark. I called her mother to ask if she was there but got a negative response.
• “Leah, did you see Sophie leave?” I asked as soon as I got downstairs.
