Chapter 37

• Now changed into Pajamas, I lay on one side of the bed with my back to Ethan who lay on the other side. I didn’t expect him to still take my offer to share the bed after our little issue.
• I was hurt and I wished I could let him know how much his words contributed to it. Why would he not love me back? Was I foolish to care for this man? While I am not sure if I am in love with him, I was willing to try and make this marriage work, why couldn’t he do the same?
• This was all my fault, I should have never taken the initiative, but now I know what I must do, I will show no care whatsoever towards him henceforth, I refuse to hurt myself any further.
