- Dragging my feet through the car front door, I let out a tired sigh. What a day. If Ethan thought he was doing me a favor by making that generous donation to the boutique, he was dead wrong. Instead of making my job easier, it had tripled my workload.
- The manager, believing I had some kind of golden touch when it came to customers, had assigned me to almost every VIP client who walked in today. Every single one of them had been demanding, picky, and exhausting. My feet ached, my head was pounding, and all I wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep for an entire day.
