- The moment Kelly’s men flooded into the room, I knew I was finished. There were too many of them, all standing there like shadows, ready to follow her every command. My heart pounded as I glanced around, looking for an escape, but there was nowhere to go. The window, the only possible way out, seemed too far, and I knew I wouldn’t make it.
- I moved fast, adrenaline coursing through my veins, but before I could even reach the window, a pair of strong hands grabbed me from behind. My body was yanked back with such force that I could feel my breath leave my lungs in a rush. I struggled, kicking and squirming, but it was no use. They held me tight, dragging me back into the room.
- “Let me go!” I snarled, thrashing against them, but they just laughed.
