Chapter 19

• I was left to decide between rendering myself or allowing Logan who had decided to stay in my exchange.
• My breath came in shallow gasps as I forced myself to move, to run. Leaving behind Logan, who had absolutely agreed to be held hostage while Kevin and I left.
• I could hear Logan’s voice as it echoed in my head, his desperate plea to stay behind and leave him. But I couldn't, not now. After he had fought for me, rescuing me from Kelly grip and all we had passed through in the underworld. Now that we are supposed to be free he chose to be held down because of me.
