- Sari stood outside his cottage, he was already waiting for me to arrive. His stance was calm, his dark eyes unreadable, and for the first time in a long while, I didn’t know what to expect from him. I was trying hard to be calm around him even though I still feel scared.
- “Are you ready for some training?” he asked.
- I nodded hesitantly, biting my lower lips. My muscles were still sore, and my heart felt heavier than ever, but I needed the distraction. I needed to be doing something—anything—to silence the storm in my mind. And also to be building myself so as to awake my wolf easily.
