Chapter 20

• The night air was thick with tension filled on it. I hadn’t slept yet—not really even though I feel sleepy but the bugs that filled my head won't let me close my eyes. My thoughts kept circling back to Logan who was still there. The thought of what he is passing through this moment and what they meant to have done to him. I had made up my mind I will come back for him after we arrive back to the pack. Maybe….. just maybe if Kelvin will release some of his soldiers to come along with me.
• My mind still raced to Kelvin’s hushed conversation, the glance in his eyes as he denied it and his cold watch over me. I needed answers to the questions bothering me. The first light of dawn barely touched the temple ruins when I sensed a shift in the air. A presence. A force. Someone was around.
• Kelvin stiffened from where he stood guard, he had been awake since. His head snapped to the temple entrance, his body going rigid.
