Brynlee was somewhat relieved that their seats were far enough from Steven's. They sat next to Levi, who was busy munching on a chocolate cake without paying attention to the adults who were busy chattering around him.
"It's no big deal. Steven just loves to piss me off. He's the number one asshole who hates all the success I've had. If I'm the captain of the basketball team, he should be the captain of the soccer team. If I have a company that deals in interior design, he should have a company too. But so far, he is still holding on to the position of human resources manager at a construction company. He always wanted to have a human resource consulting firm, but he didn't have one until now. He always doesn't want to lose to me in every aspect."
Brynlee frowned sympathetically.
