Chapter 50 Elyseen's Ex

• Brynlee could hardly believe what she saw the first time she stepped into Levi's treatment room. Levi lay weakly on the gurney. An oxygen mask covered almost his entire face. Black eye bags hung under his eyes. He looked very pale and thin. His body was just bones covered in skin. Brynlee's heart broke seeing Levi's condition. She had never seen Levi so skinny. Brynlee's eyes filled with tears. Suddenly she wanted to blame Elyseen for what happened to Levi.
• “Brynlee… Oh, thank goodness you came.”
• Cassandra hugged Brynlee with tears in her eyes. Her body crumbled in Brynlee's arms like she would fall if Brynlee didn't quickly grab her by the shoulders.
