Chapter 149 The Future Gone

• In the middle of the night, Brynlee woke up because she wanted to pee. Her eyes were sore and heavy when she tried to open them, as if there were a bag of tears in her eyelids. Her lips were dry and her throat hurt. She didn't know how long she had cried before falling asleep.
• "Aakkhh... Why does it hurt so much?" Brynlee grumbled in annoyance.
• She stretched her legs down, forcing her feet to touch the floor and support her body that felt so heavy. She then pulled the IV pole closer and dragged it towards the bathroom on the right side of her room.
