Chapter 27 The Naive Sister-in Law

• There really wasn't much to do today. Most of the work was done yesterday with Harriet. Now he should have more time to relax and go home to spend time with his son. But the thought of going home seemed strange to him. The night was still too young. it was seven o'clock. And he didn't want to be home when Levi hadn't gone to bed.
• Elyseen opened his phone, looking at the incoming message he had been ignoring since an hour ago. He skimmed the message, typed in a reply to the sender of the message and then hurriedly left his office with the car keys he had just snatched from his desk. He thought it was time he came out of the shadow of his terrible marriage with Lillah. He had to move on. He got to have fun with some pals at the club.
• Fifteen minutes later, Elyseen was at an elite club in Atlanta. The club belonged to one of his college friends. They were good friends. His friend decided to open a business and leave behind all the architectural knowledge he had studied during four years of college. Yeah, life wasn't always straight. Elyseen thought, maybe he was just someone who was lucky enough to have a fairly straight life since he was young.
