Chapter 188 Candlelight Dinner

• Candlelight flickered on the dining table every time the wind blew gently through the window lattice. Various kinds of dishes were neatly arranged on the table, ready to be eaten. The chef was placing the last dish on the dining table and smiling with satisfaction at all the results of her cooking. She practiced for days, trial and error, until she finally succeeded in making a decent dinner for her husband.
• The woman clapped her hands excitedly as she stared at the dishes lined up on the table. She couldn't wait for her husband to come home to eat all the dishes with her. But a second later the smile on her face turned into a streak of sadness that faded all her smiles. The woman looked at her dishes sadly before she swept them away with her arm.
