Chapter 46 Elyseen's Ex
- She thought she would be fine. She thought she wouldn't be restless for those three days while looking at her phone longingly. Her emotions became unstable. She snapped at Tyson and Jason because they were joking around in the kitchen, while Sayre was struggling to cook for their customers. Brynlee was very confused and frustrated. She felt so empty without Levi.
- She missed Levi! So badly. And she also missed the annoying man, a little. Oh my gosh! She knew she must be crazy to think her life would be okay after that night. Elyseen asked her to stay away from Levi until the boy got used to the presence of a new nanny around him. She had made it through ten years of her boring and monotonous life in New York. She should have gotten through three days without Levi well, but she didn't. She was devastated to learn that there were no voices of Levi around her, whining or asking the various kinds of questions. She really wanted Levi. She wanted to meet Levi right now!
- Brynlee sighed in exasperation. She rolled down the windshield slowly to survey Elyseen's quiet house. It felt like she hadn't been to his house in years, even though it had only been three days. How she missed this home as much as she missed her old home in California. She had become as familiar with Elyseen's house as it was her own. She'd stayed at the house twice, and both times she'd created a very silly mess. Honestly, she was embarrassed to replay those memories. But even though it was embarrassing, all those memories were like an addiction to her. She missed being at that house again with Levi. Even with Elyseen.
