Chapter 164 An Emergency Call

• Miranda kept looking back to make sure that Belle and Nathalie didn't see her turn right, heading towards the back door of the café. She never intended to go to the restroom. She left the café through the back door, which had just been opened by the kitchen staff who were throwing out the trash. Miranda was sure she would get into trouble because she left her friends without explanation. But she had a good reason why she did that.
• Miranda walked into the hospital yard through the side door and passed the special parking area for hospital staff. The roads around the area were quieter than the main roads because only hospital employees used the roads to change shifts twice a day. Outside the shift changes, the area was very quiet. Miranda deliberately passed that road to avoid running into doctors or hospital staff.
