- Going home wasn’t a good option right now. Especially when he was going through a cold war with Brynlee, and they had no one to reconcile them but Levi. His mother had officially left the house this afternoon. After picking up his father at the airport, his mother decided to head to their mountain cabin in Blue Ridge and stay there for about a week for the holidays. She said it was time for her to have fun with her husband without thinking about anything.
- Stepping into his quiet house, Elyseen felt so tired. He walked into the kitchen to get a beer in the fridge. The place seemed to have a strong magnet towards him. It was the only place besides his room where he smelled Brynlee's scent. They had many sweet memories in the kitchen.
- As he passed the bar counter, he found a serving hood. Elyseen opened it and found a plate of meatballs with gravy sauce. The smell of the fragrant meatballs made his stomach growl noisily because he was starving. He hadn't eaten anything since noon because he was too busy designing the house for Bella Fellaquez. He wanted to finish the design of the house as soon as possible so he could move on to the next project he needed to finish next week.
