Chapter 152 Christmas Morning

• Brynlee grumbled about how busy Elyseen was, even though they were far from Atlanta. It wasn't a holiday at all. That was Elyseen's way of keeping her away from Reese. Elyseen brought them to New York earlier than planned. Brynlee thought they would have more family time until the new year and would not work at all. But, Elyseen never left his cellphone and laptop. He worked twenty-four hours a week.
• Yesterday, they canceled going to dinner at Marry Christin's steakhouse because Harriet suddenly needed him to verify some company files. Brynlee was tired of grumbling. Yesterday she decided not to grumble much and just fill her time with fun things with Levi. They drew, learned the alphabet and numbers, then cooked for Christmas.
• "Let me know whenever you come home. Maybe I can prepare a welcome party for you.”
