• I can't believe Damiano is still mad at me. Apparently, he doesn't like that I left the club knowing Marianna was going to end up like that. All of a sudden that asshole grew a heart overnight. So it's okay for him to poison her but it's not okay for me to what, leave her to talk with Padre? When I left, I just thought he was trying to scare her. She's his fucking daughter. I didn't actually think he'd go through with it. But honestly, I was also hoping he'd just get rid of her once and for all.
• It's not a secret that we've never gotten along. Her arrogance and self-entitled attitude are something I hate with every fiber of my being. Just because her name is Marianna and mine is Carina doesn't mean she's better than me. Over the years, the hate I feel towards her has grown tenfold. Trust me when I say I don't give a shit about her. She could drop dead in front of me and I wouldn't even blink. If the same happened to me, her reaction wouldn't be any different. So when Damiano, who is supposed to be my man, my ride or die, gets mad at me over her, it pisses me off. What right does he have to do that? Has he forgotten just weeks ago we stole from De Luca and got a man killed? Fucking double standards.
• It's not just him. Even De Luca is completely under her spell. The way he looked at me after finding out what happened to Marianna made me feel like trash. He didn't say a word or try to confront me in any. I don't even think he knows the full story. In his opinion, I went out with her and came back alone instead of making sure she was fine first. It's as if he also forgot that we don't get along. I wonder why people keep expecting me to be a saint. I've grown up in the same environment as her. If it hadn't happened to her, it would have happened to me. Is it wrong of me to want to protect myself? I'm the adopted daughter. Padre cares even less about me.
