Chapter 53 Re-captured

• Oleander and I dashed out of our apartment, sliding into his car while my heart pounded in my chest. The drive was a blur, with the world outside flashing by while neither of us spoke.
• When we arrived, we jumped out of the car and hurried inside to find Oleander’s father standing in the middle of the room, busy on the link, organizing the pack members and informing them of the situation. Oleander’s mother rushed toward us and pulled us both into a tight hug.
