Chapter 9 Fight With The Alpha

• The next morning, Ann was up early and dressed for the day. She had been informed that she would begin her training today and would meet Darius after breakfast in the courtyard. In her black leather pants and black shirt, she pulled her hair into a sleek ponytail, giving her face more definition. Her combat boots made thick sounds on the tiles as she made her way to the dining room. As expected, Darius was already seated, having his breakfast. She greeted the king and queen and then began to eat. Thankfully, breakfast was quiet and uncomplicated.
• After she finished, she made her way to the courtyard, where she watched the guards train. It was fascinating to her; she had always wanted to learn the art of fighting.
• "Boo!" Ann jumped, turning to see none other than Victor grinning like a fool at her. His blonde hair was messy, his white shirt rumpled, and his black pants a little too tight. He was wearing black combat boots similar to hers.
