Chapter 14 A Nightmare

• Ann's heart skipped a beat as Darius strode toward her. She couldn't pull her eyes away from him. She was literally ogling a half-naked man. Yes, a half-naked man. He was dressed in only black pants that sat low on his hips, revealing the V outline of his torso. Ann had always known he was built, but seeing him like this, he looked bigger than he did with clothes on. His arms, shoulders, and torso were covered in toned muscles and very visible veins.
• He had different types of tattoos on his body, some Ann could identify, while others she couldn't. Along with the tattoos, there were scars, a lot of them, most faded but still noticeable. She wondered how he got them. When she looked up at his face, she saw a proud smirk playing on his lips. He knew she was checking him out, and he was enjoying it. She rolled her eyes and turned away, her face red as a tomato. Luckily, it was night, so he couldn’t see her blush.
• The moon shone brightly, giving them enough light to make out the things in front of them. “What are you doing here?” he asked, coming to stand beside her.
